Pastor Wilson accepted Christ in 1976. In 1994 he united with The New Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Thomas Neal Sr. Under the leadership of Pastor Neal, Rev. Wilson continued to grow spiritually and was ordained as a Deacon of The New Promise Land Missionary Baptist church on February 1, 2001. In 2003, Rev. Wilson received his call from God and upon accepting his call, he preached his first sermon on October 12, 2003 at The New Promise Land M.B. Church. He continued to serve at The New Promise Land M. B. Church and was ordained and charged to preach the Gospel on January 14, 2007. To gain a deeper understanding of God’s word and work, Rev. Wilson enrolled at Chicago Baptist Institute receiving a Bachelor of Theology Degree. Rev Wilson is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Theology from Andersonville Seminary. In December 2013, Pastor Neal announced his decision to step down as Pastor and he recommended Rev. Wilson as Pastor of The New Promise Land M.B. Church. The church unanimously favored Pastor Neal’s recommendation and Rev. Wilson graciously accepted and was installed as the Pastor of The New Promise Land M. B. Church on June 8, 2014.

It is my desire to grow the body of Christ and develop disciples through preaching, teaching and applying the Word of God to our daily walk. I encourage every member to continue to walk in faith because God is a “rewarder of them that diligently seek Him”.
